|SEMINARS OF THE FUTURE®
||SEMINARS OF THE FUTURE® is a series of career management and development seminars that follow on from the CAREER DAYZ® Program. Each year's seminars have been designed to be timely, topical and thought-provoking. We have covered a range of topics including: career stock-taking; career renewal; reinventing yourself; finding your life-purpose; setting career goals; key transferrable skills; keeping yourself employable; CVs; cover letters; job interviews; tapping into the hidden job market; marketing yourself; negotiating your salary package; finding and making the most of your mentor; career image; networking; work/life balance; dealing with difficult coworkers, office politics, workplace conflict and overcoming barriers to career development. This year's seminars applied principles from neuroscience to career development. The 2018 seminars will delve deeper into the application of neuroscience to your career development.
|PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM (HYPNOSIS)
|| The PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM (HYPNOSIS) is a series of workshops, offered in the tradition of Ericksonian Hypnosis, Solution Oriented Counselling and Neurolinguistic Programming. Registered psychologists may be able to claim up to 90 hours of active learning CPD points, depending on the nature of their own learning plans.
||PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM (SUPERVISION)
||The PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM (SUPERVISION) is a group supervision program offered in the tradition of Ericksonian hypnosis, Solution Oriented Counselling and Neurolinguistic Programming. Dr. Abramson also provides individual supervision in the areas of organisational, health and counselling psychology. Registered psychologists may be able to claim active learning and/or peer consultation CPD points, depending on the nature of their own learning plans.
||Professional Development Meetings
||The Professional Development Meetings provide an avenue for psychologists to meet their CPD requirements. We have previously covered Milton H. Erickson, Ericksonian Hypnosis, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, the importance of languaging, informed consent, record keeping, professional legacies, professional life wills, self-care, social media and the psychology of share investing. Psychologists can claim up to two hours of active learning for each meeting attended, depending on the nature of their own learning plans. The 2018 professional development meetings planned for 2018 can be found at RACHEL ABRAMSON & ASSOCIATES.
|PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM
||The PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM also follows on from the CAREER DAYZ® Program and has been developed to help people set up, run and grow their own small business. The PPP® is offered as a series of workshops. Each workshop covers one of the four pillars of business (i.e., strategy and entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and resourcing). You can dip into the pillar(s) that you most need to learn about now. You will find you ultimately get maximum benefit by attending workshops across all four pillars. Workshops provide practical knowledge, with ample time to apply the knowledge to your own developing business.
|PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM (PSY)
||The PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
PROGRAM (PSY) assists fully registered psychologists to set up, run and grow their own private practice. This Program does so with our current legislation, requirements of third parties and professional ethics in mind. As with its sister program for the general public, this Program is offered as a series of workshops with each workshop covering one of the four pillars of business (ie., strategy and entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and resourcing). You can dip into the pillar(s) that you most need to learn about now. You will find that you ultimately get maximum benefit by attending workshops across all four pillars. Workshops provide practical knowledge, with ample time to apply the knowledge to your own developing private practice. Depending on the nature of the learning plans, psychologists can claim up to 18 hours of active learning (strategy and entrepreneurship and resourcing workshops), 24 hours of active learning (marketing workshop) and 12 hours of active learning (finance workshop).
|On the psychology of money and share investing
